still trying to figure out the pictures i think it's about 12ft. My concern, the guy told me it was a monohull ( all sealed ) but do i need to worry about rotten stringers, rotten transom , water logged foam, etc.
just bought this buy on identification no title etc. guy said it might be about 20 + years old ????
I'd like to know what is is so i can figure out what to check on it and how to rig it etc. it has a main sail and a jib . i do not now anything about sailing ....... yet :)
darn i have...
i'm new to boating someone has this for sale Snark 1970's they said it was fiberglass. but what has happened to the hull?
can it be repaired ? is it worth repairing the hull in some fashion?
I have some epoxy from PPG Amerlock2/400 can i use it on that is some way?????
Strip that mess...
BRAVO!!! thats going to be fun. I am close to getting mine on the water. Just got a trailer for a jet ski to fix up for it. I will need some sailing lessons first.
I tempted to do a blog about mine enjoyed seeing the pics
very clever, I have been trying to think of a way to load mine on my Astro van it's much higher. wooden sailfish about 140 lbs. How much does yours weigh? I will experiment with it. good work very clever , thanks for showing your idea
I need a mast and just want to know the spars i got with the boat are correct for that boat.
from the pictures and my boat is 13'8" length and beam is 35", what type would you say it is? I thought a sailfish because of the sailfish symbol on the sail but maybe those are not...
very new to all this
I have an old wooden , what i think is a 1950ish super sailfish but i'm not sure. And i am wondering now if I have the correct spars, as i am also looking for a mast.
I have added a few pictures of what i have. the hole for the mast is 2 3/8 inch diameter...
