    I step the mast by standing on the deck. A web a light cracks have developed on the port side deck. I'm 155lbs. Is the deck not to be stood on? A great little boat. I sail lake Champlain, Vermont.

    floation bag access My 09 Expo inside on each side of the cuddy has two screwed doors/covers that give access to under the seats. Let me know about the stress cracks. I noticed some near the port rub rail on the bow. I'm not sure when and if anything needs e done.

    Long Shaft or Short Shaft?

    Long or short shaft? I use a short shaft Suzuki 2hp. It works perfectly on a Catalina motor mount - mounted on the port side of transom. Mounts are inverted so as to keep clear of tiller.

    14.2 Expo Any suggestions on alternatives to the hull airbags? Are they as fragile as they look? Anyone have experience with foam or air pillows?

    Boat is off trailer, but bow stabilized on beach or ramp. A rubber pad under bow is used to protect hull. With one person on the deck guiding the mast and the other lifting and finding pin - best system that I know of so far.

    Expo mast Have had the boat for two years without a mast problem. I often sail in heavy wind on Lake Champlain in Vermont. Have you contacted Catalina; does warranty cover the damaged mast?
