    New Paint w/Power Sprayer?

Interlux says the Pre-Kote can be applied with an airless sprayer but I'm thinking of going with an HVLP. You don't learn if you don't try. Or "who dares, wins" as they say.

    New Paint w/Power Sprayer?

Will do. I think you're right about needing an HVLP. I've found several (reasonably) affordable ones. I wonder if anyone has a recommendation on sprayer models. It looks like with a good gun, I could possible lay down both primer and topcoat. And, yes, copy that on respirator. Thanks, Mr. Kent.

The trailer could be, though I doubt it. I've towed Sunfish on small aluminum trailers with no trouble and...

Purposely sailing a sunfish in a thunderstorm...

And you may be ok with a "thunderbolt," but a lightning bolt; that's another matter ;).

Purposely sailing a sunfish in a thunderstorm...

It would just be a puff of smoke and that's all. "That's all" as in you'd be a goner. But I've been tempting by the same myself whilst watching these late afternoon storms down here on the Gulf Coast.

A Theological Question Regarding Sunfish Rigging

I've a graduate degree in theology and am a neophyte Sunfish sailor. In my humble, yet very well-theologically-educated opinion, sailcraftri has the the answer with the greatest explanatory power, but I think hilulover's neo-Marxist (in literary theory terms; no accusation of socialism) answer...
