I just picked up a very old 420. Maybe Club but maybe international-- don't know. It did not have spreaders for stays. Does any one know if any of the 420's are sailed without spreaders? Also, the jib doesn't seem to have a steel cable in the leading edge-- so this is not a normal way to set...
