Im sory but im not looking for a supersunfish. I was interested in finding out what it would cost to buy the sail and mast to turn my sunfish into a super sunfish. I have 3 sailboats and no room for another. super sunfish dont come round often so you should be able to sale it no problem.

Thanks Steve. I did feel that. I felt something like it when going down wind, when I would get hit with big gust of 30 plus mph winds i felt the boat come out of the water and glide. i keep seting back more afraid the back of the boat would come flying past me lol. corse waves on your back did...

SO, what are ways to know for sures that the boat is in a plane? is skiping over the waves with out feeling them one way to know your planeing? I read that its called plane when the boat rides its own wave. but i cant see much of whats happening under the boat when im sailing. :D

Well. the super sunfish is an upgrade for the sunfish sailboat. and some times you can run into the used kit for cheap. in that case you have your sunfish and a rig to convert it to a super sunfish giving you something a little more stable then the laser but alot more tec to learn how to sail...

Well after trying out a laser. and having sail a super sunfish. I would have to say that the super sunfish is less of a learner and more of a fun fast inbreed. the laser was fast and super unstable. it was ok in calmer winds. i can see in the long run i would learn more about sailing with a...

there is something I been feeling the rudder do that i like to tell see if I can learn whats going on. when i bring the sunfish to the wind and the boat over heels but I can keep it going fast with out capsizing. at some points the boat well loos rudder stering. it wont respond to the rudder...

I think i have the Harken 019 Hexratchet. it also has a swivel base. im trying to figure out a way to load a picture from my puter to here buit so far it wont do it for some reson.

I epoxy glassed the mast step last night and seems to be strong, but prolly wont know tell I take the boat out on monday for a try. Thanks alot for your Help Catya :) :D :)

I bought a 6" port. I cut the hole. took some foam that was around the mast step. sanded everything so i get a good bond. I bought west system epoxy and hardner. I dont know how to flip the boat up side down correctly. and if i do that Im not sure how to apply pressure on the top of the hull...
