    hiking strap usage

    purchased a wet fish

I have six-inch ports and never had any trouble screwing them in or unscrewing them. Before I put them back in I coat the gasket with petroleum jelly. That makes them watertight and easy to turn. Also, the Beckson's have a very stiff frame which do not deform when attached to the deck...

    purchased a wet fish

    b. matt You definitely need inspection ports. Vacuum won't help because you need lots of air flow to evaporate the water. Get six-inch ports to faciliate future repairs and to allow more air to flow through the hull. You'll also be able to determine if you have any loose foam and to fix...

how to fix old style rudder

Keep looking on eBay. There were two complete sets of original parts advertised last week. Do a search for Sunfish parts. It is much easier than trying to modify the old-style rudder. Good luck.
