    My DS1 has a soft transom. It is 4 " x 12". I didn't think of Mahogony for that. I will certainly go to the mill to see if they have a small piece of Mahogany. Thank You!

    I don't cut holes in my sailboats! Day Sailer, Sunfish- It does not matter. There are other ways to dry out a Sunfish.

    I think that is the option for me. What adhesive do you recommend for reattaching the deck?

    What is the best way to do a rudder conversion "Without" cutting an inspection port into the hull? I am not a fan of the extra hole. I like the Esthetics of a simple clean deck.
