    First Time Fiberglass Repair

I'll try to get some pictures, but I'm pretty sure they don't let in water. I'm just wondering how difficult it would be to fix them for purely cosmetic reasons.

    First Time Fiberglass Repair

I just purchased my first boat (a Force5) and although the cracks aren't serious, they are very ugly to me:rolleyes:. I've never done fiberglass/gelcoat repair before, so I have a few questions. 1. Should I invest in one of those fiberglass repair books (if so, which one)? 2. Should I even...

    Homemade blade bags?

    Attention Texas Sailors!

So I finally got a boat yesterday (a Force5) and trailer. The problem is, I have to tow it across the state 300 miles, so I absolutely have to make sure everything is nice and legal. The trailer doesn't have any type of title, and I think that it was home-built. I looked online, and I came...

    ARR want to trade? TEXAS

I want a Sunfish or other relatively small sailboat. I don't have much money, but I can pay up to $400, or trade you for my very nice 1984 Fender drednought acoustic guitar (F220sb) with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a rosewood fingerboard and/or my 30 Gig video iPod. I go to...

I want a small two person craft!

Thanks for the replies...almost everyone here and in real-life seems to agree about the trailer thing. The Sunfish seems like a pretty cool boat, and I wasn't aware that it could hold 2 people-my friends have been telling me to get a cat, but I guess it's probably because they already have...

I want a small two person craft!

I'm very new to dinghy sailing, so I don't know exactly what I want. Ideally, I would like a boat that I can sail myself and sometimes another person. It would be REALLY cool if it can be strapped to the roof of my PT Cruiser, since a trailer seems like it would be a pain in the butt...
