Is there a way to IGNORE a rude person on this forum?

Since I don't have the mast OR the boat, I will have difficulty following this excellent advice. I was hoping someone in the community could measure this for me. You're a staff member?

OK I know it's 2 3/8" O.D. Can anyone tell me the depth of the mast in the boat? i.e. how far does the mast go in?

Can anyone tell me the mast diameter for the Snark Sunchaser? I'm thinking of buying one that's missing the mast. I can't go look at this boat yet to measure it myself... I have a mast and sail from an Alumacraft S-12. This mast is 2 1/2" diameter. I'm wondering if it will fit the Snark, which...
