This is my newer old style rudder, that rudder head prevents the cracks that are common in the old style blades, and it has a newer style blade. I came across this on an older hull and immediately put it on my "66" hull.

Thanks for ideas and comments, not sure what I'm gonna do yet, I don't like junking boats, most all things can be fixed or replaced and it doesn't cost me anymore to hang onto it for awhile. Came with new boards along with new spars and sail.
I have SLO sail covers for my Sunfish and Mistral 16 also my Vagabond 14. but also, have had Sailors Tailor covers that were awesome, and have a sunfish cover from Ebay for my Clone fish Windflite, that is great.
