Thanks for the suggestions. I got some from suggestions from my fleet mates as well and I went with these gloves.

I was doing the same thing, but trailering quite a bit warped my spars. I'm going to a local hitch place here this summer to consult with them about how to engineer something on our small Dilly trailer to hold the mast and spars for long trips on the interstate.

Hello all, I have been using my NRS brand kayaking gloves for sailing. I am not sure this is a good idea. However, it is hot where I live (like 100+) many days, so I don't want gloves that are too heavy duty. What gloves would you recommend for sailing a Sunfish in a hot climate?
