my current Idea is take the simple main sheet on the lateen rig, make a super sunfish boom and add a gooseneck on the very end, and not attached to the right, and make a sleeve in the sail. normal for the super rig, and this way I can quickly swap between rigs. Then once it's all together, wait...

I'm going to see if a used super sail appears and I can make one, in theory the design rigs will be inter changeable, the main sheet rig it self will be the same as the lateen rig so that they can be swapped quickly and easily.

I'm looking to make the sail, mast, and boom for a super sunfish, My plan is to use the super rig in high wind, but use the regular rig in light winds. I have access to a large wood shop and was going to make everything myself. Does anyone have the plans for the rig, or suggestions?

I know what to do, there are already inspection ports installed on my boat, I will use paracord and 2 maybe 4 pulleys, and 2 cleats to hold the main sheets, I don't need to modify the mast to accomidate it with paracord because it is so thin, I will use a metal tube as a bow spirit. I am unsure...

Ok, what is a good in section port? the current forward inspection port is too far aft to react the mast tube.

There is also a bigger crack about 8 inches long that runs from below that crack along the top that runs towards the base

So, I completed the mast tube test, and it's leaking. using simple physics, knowing that where it was water tight should dry out, and where it is leaking it should still be damp, I was able to track down where the leaks are. so I have a compact phone, so I stuck my phone thorough the forward...

Hull doesn't leak she sits high in the water and sails well. I took her out on the water a few times prior to me noticing the crack and she sailed fine! I will do a leak test tomorrow, and should I do that on the inside of the mast or on the outside?
