just cleaned it a little today. still needs a leak test. pretty unmolested. no ports cut in. couple of dings repaired. scratches on deck from spares. ugh! scratches on transom from using tiller with opened out bolt hole! spars are a little corroded but very usable. mast step definitely not leaking on the bottom. newer sail. (has website on label and still crisp) needs new running rigging but i always figure that anyway. alum rudder cheeks. rudder needs repair or replace. but easy enough. something on the hull interested me, aft of the bailer you can see in pic. its a label. it had a bar code on it i accidentally wiped off when i was compounding. i took the only words that were printed on it too. sigh. it appears to have a red sunfish logo on it though. was this a production label? or inventory label maybe? or maybe a price tag???

just thought id share.

Barcodes weren't in common use until the 1980s, so I'd guess a Sunfish dealer had inventoried your Sunfish subsequent to the original 1970s sale.

Looking good! 'You going to name it "Butterscotch"? ;)

Now I've triggered a need for a snack!
