First Sail for my 15 year old son

A few weeks ago I picked up a Sunfish in very good condition for $50. Today at the Yacht Club we belong to he did his first sail on it. My boys start the sailing program tomorrow.

. Looks about 13’10” to me give or take 1/4 inch.

How fun for him to get on the water - and what a deal on the boat!!!!! The racing daggerboard alone is worth $150!!

No...that club has boats that look shorter...but are on spec +/- 1/4"
