on the trailer (i have an aluminum trailex trailer)
on the dolly

I would leave it on the trailex (assuming its being held up by the rails) but without a strap on it and no extra weight stored on it...

ok so another quick question as well........should i leave the hull plug in or pull it out? my boat is staying in an enclosed porch during the winter, so the temp in there does fluxuate with the temperature too.

Always store your boat with the plug out (unless its in the water  )..

That's only a good idea if you can remember to put it back in before sailing! :(

I was told my my local dealer (laser that is :D ) The best way to winter store the boat is Vertical. I'll try it this winter.

Can I store my Laser by stan
ding it up on the stern? I have a tall garage but I am limited on floor space.

Sure can, that's how Vanguard stores them in their factory. Make sure it's resting on the stern rail (deck/hull joint) and not the transom/bottom or gudgeons

What are peoples thoughts about wrapping the boat in plastic while the boat is being stored outdoors during the horrible winter months.

Cheers

It would have to be perfectly dry, wouldn't it? or you could get blisters in the gel coat.

I store Lasers in our warehouse vertically.

Put a piece of soft foam, like house insulation, down, and then angle the boat. This way the gudgeons crush through the foam, and the boat can sit more vertically, while resting all of it's wait on the transom and not on said gudgeons.
