Gooseneck upside down?

Just bought my first Laser from a reputable dealer. After bringing it home, it seemed to me that the gooseneck was installed upside down. In reading the XD instructions, it indeed shows the orientation of the gooseneck placed 180 degrees different, with the holes in the top and not the bottom for purposes of rigging the outhall.

I thought I would ask you experts out there if this will cause any problem. Should I return to the dealer and, if yes, would a re-install potentially cause damage to the mast as a result?
Thanks

They will just drill out the old rivits, turn the gooseneck and pop it on w/new rivits. Not hard to do.

i do not use the holes in my gooseneck either. I would not bother changing the gooseneck around. With most of the outhaul systems i have seen it will not make any difference.

Go back to that dealer and stand at the door yelling at the top of your lungs>>>

Hey bozo. Is this some kind of anti woman joke? You think I am gonna just dump all the time? Is putting my gooseneck on upside down an attempt to mock me?

The when he comes out, paste him with a cream pie and some water baloons.

If the dealer continues to be polite after your display and assault mumble someting about being off your meds and slink away.

Otherwise or if you have a lousy throwing arm......Just use the gooseneck as it is. It really does not matter.

Thanks for your replies.

Lucky me, such an opportunity, I can now hang something from this...hmmm, what shall it be...a mirror to ensure proper application of lipstick when on a run? or perhaps a bottle of Bacardi upside down like in the pubs with a matching Dixie cup dispenser next to it?...the possiblities must be endless - any other ideas...

I have 3 lasers and after looking at my 3 and 3 others in the area I have found the 3 are rightside up and 3 are upside down

my old one had the holes at the top (standard)

my newer radial and standard sections have the holes at the bottom
