Super Opinionated and Always Correct
The difference between politics and great fiction is fiction has to be believable.
Mark Twain

Today a copy of a publication was delivered to my house.

The cover says:

International Laser Class Association
2011 Handbook
Constitution and Class Rules

On Page 34 of the 2011 ILCA Handbook it says at the bottom of that page:
Valid fom 1st January 2011

It also says:

DEFINITION OF A BUILDER
A builder is a manufacturer that has a building agreement with the design rights holder. to build the Laser and has rights to use a Laser trademark and has been approved as a Laser Builder by each of the International sailing federationand the International Laser Class Association.

(The period after the word holder is in the printed text)

As of 9PM Central daylight Time US on May 6, 2011 the following text was on the ILCA Website >>> Here is a link to that page of the ILCA website

Thanks Gouvernail for presenting more evidence as to why Mr Wellmann and Mr Martin have lost my confidence, a point I already made several times in earlier posts.

More importantly, it seems to me that according to the printed version of the ILCA By-Law in the 2011 Handbook (new) Lasers from LaserPerformance (LP) are NOT Lasers since LP currently doesn't have an valid agreement with the design rights holder (Global Sailing).
