Will a CATYAK II sail fit a Sunfish

    Page 11 of the Class rules shows the spar measurements - about 13'-8".

    Per the ebay ad, that sail measures more like 12'-7" at the foot and 14'-1" vertically at the luff... so too short one way, and too long the other. Plus, the sail is sleeved, so if you wanted to use sail ties or the shower-ring style sail clips like a normal Sunfish sail setup, you'd have to install grommets in the sail.

    I doubt it'd be worth the effort, though.

    Have to agree with tag.
    You also need to consider the location of the blocks on the Sunfish boom. There are cut outs in the Catyak sail sleeve, but the location may be off.
