Where to launch in South Bay LA

Hello everyone.

I have sailed very tiny sunfish boats and would like to step into a 14 footer, maybe a Lido 14...?

I would like advice on what to get started with. Is a Lido 14 a good way to start? If so, where can I store it? What can I expect to pay for storage?

I live in North Torrance.
