Anybody have an inexpensive solution for an inexpensive CD/MP3 on your boat?

    Thanks

Someone(maybe me!) should design one that could be installed in the top of an inspection port, or in the cubbyhole(held in by velcro)

I bought a waterproof speaker including housing thing from ebay for around £10 and stuck a small MP3 player in it, then just put the toestrap through it:

I use an eGo Icebar with my iPod and it works great.

Just remember to also buy some good rechargeable batteries for the unit itself.

The only music i want to hear while sailing is the sound of the water rushing past the hull.

I agree with you. Anything else would probably be too distracting for me.

Hi, I have a MP 3 player with head phones. I got a water tight MP 3 bag from wall mart for $!5.00. It has a jack on the outside. Mine has been completely submerged several times, and still works great. I love sailing with music. I have over the ear headphones so I can still hear all going on around me
