I've taken a look at all the different mainsheet cleat ideas via our search, but I'm still thinking.
Has anyone installed a section of traveler track across the front of the cockpit lip? Here's my thought, with a section of traveler track, I could have a couple of different cars. One for my standup spring and hex rachet, one with a bullseye and clam cleat, maybe even a couple with clam cleats for each end of the track to use with my hex rachet (not sure if the alignment would work, just an idea). With this setup, I could simply slide on whatever system would fit the day.
Thoughts????
Would this be class legal? It's not changing the performance of the boat, simply a different way of attaching approved hardware to the deck.
