Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum and a wannabe sailboat owner. I've been trying to get an estimate on what it would cost to have a 28 ft. sailboat hauled and placed on a cradle/boat rack so that I can clean the bottom and do some sprucing up on the inside.
Most marinas that I've checked with here (I'm on the GA coast) want anywhere from $400-$600 per month for a wet slip and about $50.00 per day to put the boat on a rack so that I can work on it.
Are these fees in line with what most places charge along the east coast? If they are, I'm going to have to look at some alternatives (if there are any) as I simply can't afford those kind of rates.
Thanks for your help and any advice you can give me.
