Skippers Needed!- Blind Sailing Association

Blind Sailing Canada is a charity which brings together blind and visually impaired members with sighted crew to go out on sails. Blind Sailing Canada was formed to provide opportunities for the blind to improve their quality of life by building self esteem and confidence through recreational sailing. This can not be done without the assistance of sighted skippers. The association is in need of sighted skippers to volunteer their time throughout the summer to take out blind and visually impaired members. The boats are 22ft and are located in Toronto at Spadina and Queen's Quay. If you are an experienced skipper and able to volunteer weekly, bi-weekly or even just a few afternoons or evenings, we will build a sail around your schedule.

Please contact [email protected] or the Blind Sailing Hotline at 416-489-2433.

Thank you!
