Just had a friend share pictures of his deck hardware screws, after two halyard block screws snapped a few days ago. If you have an older boat it might be time to replace the screws. Remember to replace them one at a time, if you remove all of the screws at once the backer block inside the hull may fall off. Stainless number 8 screws should work, or you may want to go up to number 10. If you bump up the size, you might have to ream out the hardware hole a little. And 1 inch screws are plenty long for all of the deck hardware.
