Rigging for 470

Hi! I'm new to the forum. Recently purchased a 470 (1986?) for my 2 boys.

They have sailed other boats (Hobie 16, Force 5, FJ, laser and 420) in the past and are looking forward to sailing the 470. The problem they are having is that they cannot find manual/layout for rigging the 470. I tried to do a search but due to the loss of info, all the info in the links that pertain to this are all gone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest following the Mackay Boat link on the Merchants page. Go to the ordering page and look at the options, and note all the "view" links which are photos of the various rigging methods. Keep in mind there has been a lot of evolution and there never has been one way of doing things even in any given year. It is best to understand the function, what exists, then think how you would Like it to be done. But Mackay photos show the state of the art way of doing things, and even then they offer several options as you will see. You can also post a picture of what you have and ask the forum for input
