Hello Laser Sailors and Friends:
Alamitos Bay Yacht Club (ABYC) Long Beach CA is again hosting the Laser District 25 (D25) Championship September 5-6. The D25 championship will be held in conjunction with the ABYC Labor Day Holiday Regatta on these same dates. The Labor Day Regatta and D25 Championship have become popular events with 23 Full-Rigs and 48 Radials competing at our 2008 event. There will be separate starts for both qualified fleets and racers will compete for both ABYC trophies and D25 Championship Perpetual Trophies for the winners of Full-Rig and Radial fleets. Racers will also be competing for International Laser Class Association North American Region (ILCA-NA) Grand Prix points: http://www.laser.org/index.php?opti...e&id=698:gp-test&catid=21:official&Itemid=250
