Gull Lake Sunfish Fleet #704 invites you to the Fifth Annual Michigan Open Championship to be held on Gull Lake, Richland, Michigan, June 4-5, 2016. See our Notice of Race on the internet (https://www.sunfishclass.org/documents/nor_2013/2016NoticeofRace-MOC.pdf) for complete details.

Note there is a discounted entry fee for Youth sailors! Note also there is a discounted entry fee for early registration!

We're planning a nice dinner at Gull Lake Country Club for the Saturday evening (and if you golf, we've arranged that you can play on Friday, see NOR!). Gull Lake is on National Geographic's list of 10 best inland lakes on the continent—come sail here and find out why!

Get updates on Facebook at www.facebook.com/GullLakeSunfishFleet704.

If you have questions, please email me: gulllakesunfish@gmail.com.

Please share this message to any sailor whom you believe may be interested in a FUN regatta like this one! And, if you will be 40 or older by August 6, mark your calendar—we’re hosting the U.S. Masters Championship Regatta here that weekend—info to come!

We need to seize every possible day of sailing we can while the season is here! Start your plans now.

Hi, sounds like fun. However, it is a long way for some of us older sailors to drive. Have you thought about holding the Michigan Open in a location where it is easier to get to? Upstate NY would be a more central location, accessible to Michigan, NY and New England sailors.

Hahaha! Maybe you'll consider coming this way for the US Masters in August. NOR is on Sunfish Class web page. We all take our turns. Some of us crazy folk drive to New England, New York, Southeast, Florida, Texas, Kansas and beyond!! ;-)
