There must be something in the Sunfish DNA that attracts falling trees. Here is what happened to my neighbor's Sunfish in an early fall windstorm. R.I.P. little boats. Good luck with your selling off the remains.

    thanks Alan,
Please let me know of anyone interested in these parts, it's too bad I had to salvage them. I would like to see them put back to good use.
btw, thanks for posting the sad picture ;-(
    now I don't feel so bad ;-)

I've seen sunfish hulls listed here on this site & other's too. Since the tree crushing accident I've moved to a gated community. The home owners association will not allow us to have boats, trailers, no pick up trucks. Another reason why I'm trying to sell my sunfish accessories. I miss the excitement of sailing my boat on lake nockamixon. Maybe I'll join their sailing club & see if I can find someone who owns a boat that I can sail with.

I am new to sailingforums, but not to sailing. My sister and I had a Sailfish in 1963 when we were young teens. My husband and I are now sailing a refurbished Sunfish. Our lower boom broke this past week. It seems that your post was some time ago. Any chance you still have some parts? We are in NC, but my home town is Langhorne, PA and we do visit at times.
