I am wondering if anyone has the dimensions for map table. I am restoring my j-24 hull# 338 to its original condition and cant seem to find this last piece. Any help would be appreciated. Jeff-zimmerman@hotmail.com
    Thanks, Jeff Z.

    Hi Jeff,
the easiest way to match the map table is to find a boat close to your hull number, pull their map table and scribe its outline directly onto a new piece of Marine plywood. Then just cut it out with a jig saw and you'll be good to go. Be sure to use Marine plywood which has more layers and glue and will not absorb moisture like ordinary plywood will. Be sure to finish it off with a good marine varnish to keep the rot out.

Good luck with your project. Remember, a 1980 hull - # 2021 - won the 2012 J/24 Worlds in Rochester last September! Old boats are every bit as fast as newer boats!
