Hello Laser, Laser Radial Racers and Friends:
Alamitos Bay Yacht Club (ABYC) in Long Beach CA is hosting their annual Memorial Day Holiday Regatta May 26-27: http://www.abyc.org/event.cfm?id=482
A new feature this year is the option for Laser and Radial sailors to race in the more sheltered venue of Alamitos Bay in sight of the ABYC clubhouse. Racers wishing to sail in the traditional site, inside Long Beach Harbor may do so as in prior ABYC regattas.
Sailors wishing to race in the Bay will select: Laser or Radial (Bay) when they register on-line at: https://www.regattanetwork.com/clubmgmt/applet_registration_form.php?regatta_id=4877
Sailors wishing to race in the traditional area will select: Laser or Radial (Ocean) when they register on-line at: https://www.regattanetwork.com/clubmgmt/applet_registration_form.php?regatta_id=4877
Regardless of whether you are just starting out racing your Laser/Radial or are an experienced racer, ABYC has something for you this year! So, if you race in the ocean or the Bay, you can count on excellent race management of ABYC as well as the Memorial Day Cowboy BBQ following racing on Saturday.
