Foggybiting on the Potomac River (near Washington DC)

    Prior to start (one can hear the horn) of one of the PRSA races run by the Potomac River Sailing Association Laser fleet (Jan 13, 2013).
    Watch a plane arrive at Reagan/National Airport.

    Great video! I thought I was an oddball wanting to sail in the Portland, OR area in December and January. I guess I am a light weight waiting for only a sunny day to take my boat out (as you can see in my photo). Glad to see others sharing my affliction.

    Cool!! is it safe to sail with that fog all over the area.. :)

    :) Sailing a Laser is always a bit of a risk, but hey, who wants to die in the nursing home...

    More seriously, the Potomac River was very quiet that Sunday (not surprising). There's a channel on the left side, looking downstream, that is used by motorboats. We do stay away from there.
