dual tiller extensions

hello all
I was just wondering if there is any way to put dual tiller extensions on a laser like the ones on a 49er or and I14 or and 18ft skiff? I know it won't be class legal or anything just think that it would be a cool thing to build and try out.

Honestly cant see why you'd need one, it would just be a pain. The skiffs have them because the extension is very long so they can helm from the wire, that makes them difficult to take across the boat in a tack. The laser dosnt have this problem so it would just complicate tacking. And the leeward side extension would trail in the water making steering difficult.
 
if you designed it right i don't think it would be a pain. and there isn't really a reason why i would need one but i think that i would be cool to try.
