Hello all. I just bought a '70 sunfish off of craigslist. It has a crack in the hull, right on the keel,as well as another ding that goes down to the fiberglass. Having never done any boat repair, I'm wondering how I should address these two problems. I'd love any insight/wisdom from any of you who've been through this already. Thanks!

The dings you fix with a gel coat repair kit, they have them at lowes and Home Depot.
The crack will require resin and glass repair. Don't use epoxy if you want to gel coat it. Gel coat doesn't stick well to epoxy.
