I've just purchased my first Capri 14.2, hull #1112, and I have been busy this past weekend cleaning it up as it had been standing for about 4 years with only a partial cover. I also started to make a list of items I need to replace. From the information on this forum and the C14 Handbook I have managed to identify most items but on my boat there is a shock cord that goes from side to side and passes through a grommet hole towards the front of each seat. What is this cord for and what should its original length be ?
