for those who missed it, first annual black friday regatta in Saginaw, MI. We have sailed as a group on this day for about 4 years and thought why not host a real regatta for our new found fleet, Mid Michigan Laser fleet.
very successful first event, 14 boats from all over. Cleveland, OH, White Lake, Traverse City, Harbor Springs, Frankenmuth, Linwood, Grand Rapids, Hemlock, Saginaw, and Bay City.
Lots of fun with 7 races. Tom LaBelle from TC was the winner with Bill Coberly coming in second.
afterwards a BBQ/party was held at Jon Banners house a few miles away.
There was no entry fee, donations excepted, long sleeve tee's available, a warming hut, water and beer, etc...
