I was looking thru my 81 laser manual and it has eperate instrucions for the laser m. I dont see any today and i was wondering what happened to them. If any one could give me a little history on them i would appreciate it.

Anyone know how to mount a flag on the laser's mast. I want to put my yacht club flag on my mast, but I do not see any conceivable way to do it. Considering the laser sail has a sleeve there aren't any places were you could hook something. Any ideas?:confused:

How do I take out rivets on the boom and put new ones in, I got a new boom block and I dont know how to take the old ones off so I can put the knew ones on? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I got a new laser that hadn't been in the water for abour four and a half years. I there anything I should wory about with it being out of the water for so long? Do any of the seals need to be checked.:confused:

I just bought a new hiking strap from aps and when I opened the box and it looked short, so i went to my boat and laid it in the cockpit and it only takes up about 3/4 of the length of the cockpit, my old one was the length of the cockpit. Why is this?

The laser class says its one design but is it really? I mean with all the upgrades and expensive parts I dont think it can trully be classifide as a one design class anymore. I have a 1982 Laser and a limited budget, I dont want to have to buy new expensive parts to keep up with everyone else...

I have a 81 laser i recently purchased and it has a few small cracks about the size of a quarter right infront of the dagerboard slot on the bottom of the boat, there are also other little cracks. I know gelcoat will reapair them but, since it doesnt cure in the pressence of oxygen. How do I...

I have an 81 laser that i just got that when i step into the cockpit the floor creaks. Is this bad? or is it just because it is old? Should i be worried?

Now i now everyone talks about the inspection ports and how you need them to dry the inside of your hull out but are there any alternative ways, because i dont reely want to cut a hole in my boat that i have devoted so much time to and ruin it. Are ther any commercial products you can put in...

Like I would do this or anything, but would it be absolutley ridiculas to but two small watertight speakers into the cockpit of a laser.

I just got a laser its early December and I've been itching to try it out but, i don't have not dry suit and only a full whet suit any ideas?:confused:
