yeah, i belong to a club, we have about 15+ thistles, we do glimmerglass regatta every year

it's a common problem with thistles, friend of mine had to do the same thing last winter

really? what number? thistle class is my main class

basically, ease, hike, trim for the short puffs, and pinch for the more consistent ones, and work the smaller lines accordingly as well

sounds like what we have to do at my club with our club boats (minus the dropping), they're so craptastic that, in order to find one that wont sink (literally) in the middle of the lake you have to judge which one is light by picking up the bow.... ya we need new boats
