Unless your sails are spotless - you can tell! My Hobie Sails were old as dirt...and now they look like Gerry Garica owns them! THey still have that cool faded, tie-died look - but they are as crisp as a brand new set of sails.

Couldn't a bloke just carry the universal red cirlce with the slash indicating NO Rhombus when sailing with one of these sails in competition?

My bet would be that there is a matching 'D' type bulge of glass on the other side for stabilizing the trunk. The 'D' was then filled with Foam.
