Places to get a Sunfish fixed

Chip is in Burlington and he does awesome work. He made my 2002 hull that got beat up in hurricane sandy looking brand spanking new. He does both gelcoat and structural repairs and does everything he can to keep it original without using paint. I'd use him again in a heartbeat!

Class Politics 2011 Rule Changes - Fundamental Rule

Let me preface my little rant by acknowledging all the hard work that Tracy has contributed in trying to get us the facts so that class members can make an informed decision. I really appreciate your work and leadership of the NA Region. However... According to Bruce Kirby himself, didn't this...

What type of Laser is this?

Nah, that looks like an old beat up Laser hull to me. It looks like it's missing the grabrails, brake, block and strap hardware.

Clearly you don't know squat about true America's Cup history... it's about egos and technology... and I'm impressed about the technology unveiled through this Deed of Gift match before us.

    pro rig vs reg(?) rig

There are three sail sizes that involve three different sized masts: Standard - 76 square feet, Radial - 62 square feet and 4.7 - 51 square feet. The difference between the standard and pro models involve different controls for the Vang, Cunningham and Outhaul. If you look at page 5 through...

    Inspection ports...

In my opinion, the best place for an inspection port for a mast step repair would be 8" to 10" away from the mast step hole in either the 4 or 7 o'clock position, the bow eye being 12 o'clock. Off the centerline, is best as the area is flat for a good watertight seal when you permanently put in...

    Trailer Design Feedback

Try removing all but the main leaf spring on each side of the axle (ie - suspension). When you stand on the empty trailer it should sink down 4" to 6". This will give the more cushion to the hull when trailering as a standard jet ski trailer with a suspension rated for 600lbs would be way too...
