    $230 Laser Trailer picture

I am thinking maybe the Laser wants to go a little more forward on the trailer...otherwise, I'd be afraid it could squirt out the back when a semi passes....

    Easter Laser Regatta

We are pretty low tech here...just bring your check with you! We don't charge any more than necessary to feed people...maybe Gouvernail can comment on the amount...but I can assure you that it will be very reasonable.

    hull covers

Our local sailmaker makes Laser covers that last for years in the sun and seem to be mold/rot resistant. www.bartlettsails.com The covers don't stand up well to travel...but for boat yard covers, I can't imagine anything better.

Class Politics Proposed Rule Change - Rhombus on women's sails

Obviously (and unfortunately), there aren't that many people paying attention. If I stretch my mine, I can imagine a scenario where this rule (as intended, I think) might be helpful. You have a full fleet of women sailors and another fleet full of men on the same course...and you want to know...

    Newbie questions

Ok...I think I interpreted the recent thread about where to find information as bit unfriendly. There were a few quick comments in that thread (or other recent threads)..i.e. that question's been answered many times, and there are books you know, etc. On re-read it seems to be a friendly...

News Full Lake for the NA Masters?

I have heard some concerns generated by this post. The lake is rising and is now 'full'. It continues to rise but the rate is leveling off and additional rains are falling well East of the area and not adding to the incoming flows. The weather forecast is improving each day this week and...

Class Politics Proposed Rule Change - Rhombus on women's sails

Interesting debate. I'm not particularly interested in putting any extra sticky stuff on my sail that has to be taken off later. (should I ever compete at that level). I can almost understand some of the argument for the very large regattas...to help identify fellow competitors...but then...
