Just wondering, especially now that we're in Winter up here in the north, whether its good practice to dry out the mast tube before putting the boat away. Just conscious of water freezing, expanding etc etc.
But its not the one usually used (at least in the UK). I've got this one:

Thanks for the opinions, I guess some of it is down to personal preference. I don't like tying blocks to the mast with bits of string (e.g. for the cunningham bottom block) - I think it looks naff but if it works......

I came across the clip above on Youtube which shows a way of rigging the outhaul and cunningham that I've not seen before. It looks much neater than my current setup with blocks tied to the mast and bits of tape to hold them in place.

I'm a tad light for the Laser really so when I hit the gym I tend to lift weights more than doing cardio. I'm 75kg now and am concerned that if just do cardio I'll end up losing weight. Do you think increased stamina in the muscles may be more important than a few extra kgs??
