    Bouncy deck

    Some bounce is normal as the deck is fairly thin with no support between the deck and hull. Later manufactured boats had more support. My 1986 Capri has many gel coat cracks in this area but the basic strength has not been compromised. Sail on! Dave

    Corrosion concealed in the Mast

    I also have a 1985 14.2 that has been moored for most of it's life(fresh water). I highly question if corrosion is a problem internally.
