Boom Supports for Trailering Jim, The little supports for the boom are just pieces of cedar 2 x 4 with U cutout for the mast. They aren't attached to anything. I didn't make them, they came with the boat when I bought it. My mast is 19' 6" so It seems like there was some loss when it broke.
