    Have you named your boat?

    My Capri came with the name "Pinwheel" I assume because of the multi colored mainsail. Since I work for the Boy Scouts I intend to change the name to "BSAil" but haven't ever gotten around to it.

    gelcoat cracking

    I have the same problem with my older boat as well. I sealed the cracks with silicone and now wish I hadn't. Over time the silicone has discolored and looks bad. On the other hand, it keeps water out of the cuddy. I'll be interested to see if others have a better solution.

    Thanks for the replies! I'll call and get a price for a new mast. My sons are going to help pay for it. We live very close to Grapevine Lake, near the DFW Airport, and that's where we have been sailing.
