Roof racking or trailering... Vote for which you like best?

Which method would you do if you had both available? Trailering is quicker but roof racking puts less stress on the hull....

    Help repairing laser cover

Hi, my old laser covers pretty knackered and its managed to rip by the transom. I need to repair it but I'd prefer not to fork out for a new one as its a pretty old boat anyway. The repair would have to be done with an extra piece of 'heavy duty' material to sew on as the rip is actually fairly...

    Laser Radial Optimum Weight

Hi everyone, at the moment i sail a radial and i weigh about 55 kg. I usually sail in a force 4 or sometimes 5. I might start racing my boat more soon and was wondering whether its worth looking into a 4.7 ( mind you i'm a 13 year old boy so i've still got some growing to do!) What do you guys...

    Laser Roofrack vs Trailer

Well there would always be at least 2 people to lift it up so it wouldn't take too long to get it ready. Although I can see why a trailer makes some sense... I'll probably end up getting both like 'torrid' and that should work!

    Laser Roofrack vs Trailer

Hi everyone, I need to get a way of transporting my laser about. I'll only be travelling max-100 miles to go to events so was wondering which of the 2 methods would work best. We have an audi a3, (small-medium sized family car.) at the moment i'm more towards a rack because its cheaper and safer...

    New Vs Old Hull

Right, in that case I'm guessing its worth saving up money to buy XD kits and other stuff to help my old boat sail nicely than saving up instead for a newer boat altogether... ?

    New Vs Old Hull

Ok, had a look for some ptfe on the net, think I might get some... If I do buy an XD kit i'll probably go for the kicker though. My boat came with a wooden tiller lol so i'm thinking of getting a new one (probably carbon.) I have just bought 7mm mainsheet as well but do you think 7mm is too...

    New Vs Old Hull

Thanks for helping to answer my question, tbh there are a few small circular cracks that could do with some gelcoating so i'll work on those. I'm sure most of the speed in lasers comes out of the people who race them and not the boat as much after what you guys have said... Although if a new...

    New Vs Old Hull

Hi everyone, I recently bought a laser (117077) which is fairly old although has had only 10 years of use. It seems pretty fast but was wondering how much difference a newer one makes and if its worth spending twice the money on a newer one in the future... Are there any other good tips to make...
