Hey All,
I put on a new travler (spectra) on my boat....but the darn thing isn't catching in the cleat, when I sail the thing just slides and the boom just raises. I used the proper line accortding to Vangaurd. Any suggestions on this one.

Ok so I'm getting ready to store my Lasers for the long cold ugly winter of Toronto. I'm debating weather or not to keep my Hull and Deck covers on them for the winter. They will be stored vertically against the shed. What are peoples thoughts?

Hey All,
I tried a search for this on the forum with no luck.
So I have 2 Lasers one a 1979, and another a 2005. When I picked up the new one the reseller told me the best way to wiinter store a laser is vertically. Now I wish I had a garage with a 14 foot ceiling!!!! So my question is...
I bought a 79 Laser and it is about 150 pounds. I know the boat should be around 135 pounds. A few people have said put a hair dryer in it for a day or so, another told me to pull the enitire boat apart to dry it out.
Are there any thoughts here on how do shave some poundage of my over...
