sorry to get off the subject, but i just realized recently that my spare rubber universal has the same diameter as copper tubeing. has anyone tried to make a backup tiller with this? seems cheap and easy and a great backup to the carbon one that i will sooner or later sit on and break. the main...
Thanks! I happen to be from Berlin, it is nice to have someone speak good of your club. We probaly have a dozen or so lasers. With the jr team, we usually have around six lasers on a line sunday and wednesday night.
Looking to see if anyone would be interested in some spar carriers-(basic version of http://www.apsltd.com/p-4489-lazy-bones-spar-carrier.aspx) I made a pair for my boat last year and have used them eversince with no problems. Made with solid wood with carpet to protect the boat. I can have...

yeah, i have one ordered, hope to get on and try this weekend, will let you know how it works
and have we came to a consensus that there is no need to rivet in? What is the issue with radials?
the bottom of my mast is ground right where the rivet is. i bought a new cap to replace, but my concern is, when i replace the cap, the rivet will be sticking out. any ideas?

size-wise
yeah, that would be great if you could let me know, i know of a couple boats at the club that would benefit from that.
that laser II looks like a lot of fun for a great cause.
i am pretty sure that in pa you need an approved life vest (coast guard approved- most bouyancy vests dont count-which has been previously noted). not sure if that applies elsewhere, i just wear mine everywhere
