alrighty boys(and girls)
im 17, weigh 135 and i am 5'5"tall(and female for that matter)...and i sail a radial. To PressureDropBG...im pretty sure you can move up to a radial. Plus its more fun...can go faster.;) go for the change...you'll love it!
when i got my laser it came with a carbon fibre tiller extention that was waay too long. I contiplated cutting the extention off at the end to make it shorter, but then after sailing longer i got use to the length. The trick i think is that when you tack push the tiller across and then just...
yeah i'll be there, why wouldnt i? I'll let you look at both of them and you can take the better of the two because i might just end up selling the rig to the club for the green laser, so. see yah wednesday.
Alright, im wondering what you guys would pay for a laser/radial. My boat has both full and radial, there is two full rig practice sails and a mast(top and bottom). There is also a brand new radial sail and mast(new this year, only used maybe 4 times). It also has a magic marine dolly and top...
hey,
i just recently got my cap stuck in the pocket as well..something i did was i stuck the batton in again to put the cap on the end then as you are pulling out the batton with the cap on the end..you twist the batton. it works..not sure if it will work in your situation but its worth a try...

hey Steven,
Where is there a Binnacle in canada? or is it just a US store? I dont mind having to order things if its cheaper. Saves me a trip to Toronto to Fogh Marine.(which i have gone there 4 times in one week at an 1 1/2 hours away)
i would have to put in my two cents on just about any SALUS lifejacket. It is a one man company, located in Kitchener on Duke Street. There is the website to look at the different kinds. I wear the Kiwi, but the most popular is the Abacus. They are both comfortable. The abacus has a side zipper...
hello,
I was looking around on some websites and saw that if your laser II was built in the year of 1988 the sail number will be between the numbers 6583 - 7330.
That's all i have found so far. There has go to be a website out there that gives you a sail number for you Hull ID. But if you...
Go to www.boatforsale.net and go into "The ValueGuide" at the side in the yellow column. There are years of lasers and then you can match it if your boat is poor, average, or excellent. Good Luck!
I would just like to put out there a BIG CONGRATS to my buddy Brian Sims who took his C&C 43 down to KeyWest to race for the first time and overall took 1st place in his fleet. He is also currently a member at the BRONTE HARBOUR YACHT CLUB in Ontario.
CONGRATS!
If you go to the website Marrily has put up, and go to the KeyWest 2005 racing video, to day 3 you will get a few clips of my buddies boat in there. They were 1st over all in their fleet.
well...you weigh 70 kgs, so that is enough to sail a full rig(standard). But also you mentioned that it can get gusty where you sail. You could go for a radial for those gusty days and keep your full rig for the days that aren't. Also if you buy the radial, you need the radial bottom section to...
I personally dont think that this "Lock Pit" is such a good idea. You may think it is by you believing you're locking everything up and it is safe. Really, if you leave everything on your boat: dagger board, spars, tiller, rudder etc. it wouls make a pretty nice gift for someone looking for a...
