I used 5200 to put my plate into the bottom of the step. I guess its worn in the middle more as the plate fell out after a week or 2.... Will try again this year

I seriously doubt anyone would challenge your life jacket but the extrasport one is great anyways.

I've got the extrasport pfd, I like it. Decent pocket but you might want to get a back for your inspection port since if you have to climb back in the boat you might end up crushing your bars.

I stopped using my hook after it released twice out on the water. Having to capsize to fix it is a pain in the ass. Now I just tie the block to the clew since I use only my one sail.

I got an amazing deal for $1000 on a 1991 laser. Tons of extras, bags, covers, etc... I have upgraged the control lines since buying it and think it could easily sell in the 1500 to 2000 range.
