    I am just about to try an industrial velcro long loop - kind of like the velcro clew tie down from SEA. I have used the misc ropes method for years and want something quicker and more reliable. There must be a better way. But how come no one has found the better way in the last 45 years?

    Any good ideas for making a quick mounting bracket for cartopping of the Laser Spars? I currently use lots of bungees, but there must be a better way. Plywood brakets? Velcro? cleats?
